Historical Significance
Throughout his life, F. Kenneth was a storng believer in taking care of the environment. He had an interest in climate change, carbon dioxide and other pollutants in the atmosphere, fossil fuels, and droughts.(5) F. Kenneth authored many books and papers including " The Restless Atmosphere" and co- authoring "Climate Canada" He took part in numerous movements to help protect the environment, including commitees with acid rain, desertification, fossil fuels and various metals.(3) F. Kenneth was a part of a federal waste disposal group, and was the chairman of NATO in 1975. He was a chairman for Canadian Government Climate Planning Board in 1979 -1990. (3) F. Kenneth was a strong believer in protecting the environment, and his actions, along with his powerful and motivating speaches have inspired many to follow in his footsteps, in effort to protect the environment.
